On the pick six:

I felt pressure on my right side...I thought that if I don't get this ball out quick I may get strip sacked...felt like they were going to get my arm if I didn't rush it, so I kinda came up quick and tried to dump it quickly and the ball was a little high.

If the tryptophan didn’t put you down before the game then the first three quarters of this snooze fest would have finished you off.

Down Jordan Reed and Chris Thompson, Jamison Crowder put the onus of playmaker on his shoulders churning out 7 catches for 141 yards and a touchdown which put Washington up 10-3 in a game that felt like the first team to score a touchdown would win.  However, soon after the score FedEx Field’s turf monster reared it’s ugly head.

Washington was able to retake the lead thanks to a series of runs–in which Samaje Perine showed the patience of a zone running guru–and set up a perfect play action pass from Kirk Cousins:

It happened right by the band and the tv mic was able to pick up “Hail to the Redskins” blaring through the corner of the stadium. All was right with the world.
